We never counted on any of the 3 southern newts as we saw no no one willing to tough it out and figured you would go the easy way. Kings make the tough choices , fools the easy road they pursue. Maybe that book should be an autobiagraphy named the "Book of Fools".

maybe it is a FP thing to die as a commander, either by assassination, challenge or losing combat.
I gladly prefer the DS way of leading from the back, having my troups trampled and surviving to fight another day.
But as I say maybe dying glorously is a FP thing to do.

Baldrog stood forward and drew his sword like the moon is drawn from beyond the void. Well, I could tell them the truth, that Cardolan gave me $20 in my account to get Harad to conquer NG so he can take a couple pops he has VC's for and the Northmen will finally be forced to ship some product whlie SG will now have to demand naval help instead of making Arthedain name mages so Cardolan can blame the Noldo for their fleet being disbanded turns ago while he trains up by threatening safe Rhudaur pops so the entire game is up to the Sinda mages and he can win a bet with the Easterlings over which player drops first.

Or, you can just realize that the company offers variant games for all types of players, some are better suited to here, others there, yet others find Gunboat a sanctuary.

You know Junior B? I'm getting real tired of everyone looking at the Quiet Avenger force as some kind of second-class citizenry in the empire of evil. We employ lots of orcs homesteading, mining, trading, and writing propaganda leaflets. I think its important work. Some people just have a very particular job to do, and I think I resent the way Gondor disrespects us. You know that part in The Two Towers movie when that one shirtless orc carries the bomb into the sewer great at Helm's Deep. That gimp-orc didn't do that much, and what he did do was very specific and important. I'm a lot like that. Yea, like the powder keg tucked into your craw thats gonna explode. So watch out.

Thanks for not quitting, I understand the endless torrent of mocking can be a hard thing to weather alone. You should ask the rest of your Free People, who won't be quitting, to help you out on here.

I don't remeber seeing that particular orc in the 3rd movie however. But plenty of defenders made it to 3.
My bragadosa is enough for the entire team, so help is not needed.
We'll stick around long enough to screw up a few newts as our small last gasp. Easterl. and harad are the easiest 2 to get to so the corsair maybe safe for a while.
While the Qa is usually a minor player ,with the 3 southern newts going your way really makes the QA irrelevent. You are now like the thief in conan the destroyer who after conan kills the monster runs up and stabs the dead beast and declares victory. :>) Not your fault just a fact of life.
Good turn or bad you at least speak up.

True but they last long enough to kill off your armies before dieing. No armies have disbanded yet. But you do kill off meaning less guys who have plenty of backups. Keep up that brilliant stratagy and we have good chance of coming back.

I hope you mend we as the "DS" we cause I saw no QA troops in Minas Ithil, although you are right SG did get a bit of a trashing there, I thought it was a fair deal to trade 1200 HI and a pet dragon against 400 HC and 2600 HI SG troops.

But I will stand up and cheer the might QA heavy cav as they march through Dol Amroth. Show SG your might: Trample them under your puppy dogs claws. Rip the heart out of Belechael II to IX.

VEO, the nice thing about Tony Chachere's is that it can give a flavor to anything. The bad thing about Tony Chachere's is that it makes everything taste like Tony Chachere's. I've been pretty pleased with the "Ragin' Cajun" in Houston for spicy cajun authenticity.

Sorry Swamp Thing. I'm Quebecois. Them guys were tossed from their pathetic dikes in Acadia whilst my guys were shiverring to death a little north west of there. It really amused me when I found out that ALCFES, the organization that sponsors tons of the French Language education in Louisiana was funded by the Alliance Francais (in turn funded by the French Gov't). Its so humorously *subversive,* but they did put on a nice convention. Mordor should start sponsoring orcish language classes in Gondor too. There could be cultural events, bake-offs, craft boutiques, and everything! A good time to be had by all. But yea, M. Brunet, you should not mock les Cadiens; or I'm gonna have to break out the America Jr. jokes.

Congratulations to the DS. I was having a lot of fun in the game but the diplomatic victory (coming on the heels of the initial bloodlettings) turned the tide to the extent that the result was basically academic.

As the game is over are our Gondor players willing to tell us why you destroyed the fortification at Minas Ithil on turn 1? I still do not see the advantage and I want to learn.

To make it an open pass so that we couldn't use it as a block I guess as they can out-recruit us . . . but I would be interested to know the full SP if the guys are willing to share.

Shame the game was over so quick, the Gondors did have an impressive attack lined up though I guess they'll never know that three of their commanders died this turn and the remaining two in the NG army were due this turn!

Oh, I guess they do know now!

Well they also didn´t know about the dragon on Osgiliath, so there would have been no resupply of fresh troups.

But I still don´t get it with the fortefication, okay normaly the FK takes Minas Ithil on turn 1 (or 2 depents how you count). But the turn after, SG comes crashing back and retakes it (as happened here) after that the DS are on the defensive and the Gondor troups fight for ground further in and should never loose it again (just like here). The only difference was that the FK lost less troups in the beginning and a threat is about 20% more successful.

But let´s here the FP reasoning. Belecheal XXIII how about it?

No fort ,no roadblock . It's work before,so once in a while we do rip them down. Not everytime but occasionally.
Ng's army had only half the commanders and troops as originally planned as the army was split to counter harad. I think NG planned to have 9-10 commaders in that army and SG 5-6 in it's attack but alas it's to late and we'll never know.

That's what I thought and I must admit from the recons we did it looked like a pretty scary attack. It is a shame we'll not know now just how effective it might have been. Though to be fair we had enough effective agents on scene to have probably dealt with at least the SG army given 5-6 cmdrs.
