Ok, I have searched the thread and couldnt find an answer...

I have a navy in a non shore hex at a popcenter that has a harbour. I attack the pop center, effectively "landing"(as the book says it, I am assuming it means anchoring ships) troops to attack pop center. I win...

Result though...Pop center drops below town status therefore removing port or harbour. Or port/harbour is destroyed in combat(if this ever happens).

Onto the question. Since ships were "anchored" are the ships able to be picked up in that turn without the port/harbour before they are trapped there? Or are they automatically trapped there until a navy comes along to pick them up?

I swear I read the rule book in detail, if i missed it somewhere, please point out my misgivings.

Its funny that there are so many questions about Navy movement/combat and other navy related actions.....maybe there is a information gap in the book somewhere....

Your army will be able to pickup the navy again and you'll be able to leave the hex. Note however though as it's a non-shore hex without a port or harbour, no new navies can enter this hex....however you can still pickup your ships and move out of the hex.
