Ok, Team Simpson vs. Gerhards Gas House Gorilla's (Bonus pts. to whomever can identify that obscure reference. ;-) )
Thanks for playing guys...you have a very strong reputation so we are excited to hopefully give you a strong challenge and have a fun game.
Anyway,
P.S. Did you guys agree to rematch with switched sides?

I look forward to this match up. I think this will end up being a hotly contested game. Bad luck to you Mongrels.

To bad we cannot make bad jokes about Germans, as we also have Germans on our side.
P.S. don īt tell anyone about it, but that is our (German) new plan for world domination. Infiltrate all Grudge teams.

Just trying to give you an automatic rematch in case things go horribly horribly wrong for the FP in the early going. ;-)

Aw, come on Gixx....you guys are a good team and you know it. So as long as you guys don't have a major brain melt I expect an exciting game where I might learn a thing or two as well. :-)

Not sure what team you are talking about. This is all new, are you making these claims based on individual player reputation? That might be stretching things.. ;)

Oh, my mistake then....I thought that this team had been together or mostly together for some time.
But since Veo and Gixxer are on the team....how could I assume anything other than that you guys would be awesome. ;-) Oh wait, I'm supposed to butter the lobster AFTER cooking it....lol

I pretty sure Brad's playing the Easterlings. :-)
We've got you outnumbered 13-12 surrender now before I am forced to taunt you a second time you silly english knigit.... ;-)

Okay, we've had some troubles. Apparently the Woodmen want's to trade SNA's with Cardolan, but Clint said No. I don't see the problem, he mentioned manual adminstration and an increase in per turn cost the the opposition wouldn't support. Not very sporting :(
Now we're trying to convince the Corsairs that he can't learn Curses without an appropriate artifact. He's since advised Clint not to accept any shadow orders for his nation from anyone else on the FP team - he hasn't excluded the DS...
Last week it took 3 days and 372 emails to get the Dwarves to agree to not retire his Iron Hills army. Lord knows where he's sending it...we'll take what victories we can here.
But I'm still pretty confident you won't be getting our surrender. Personally, I hate playing against incompetant buffoons..you never know WHAT they're going to do next. All those "against competant opposition" standard strategies...out the window. Good luck to you (and me )!

What? Can't learn curses? Does that mean I actually have to read all 372 e-mails?

Oh great, there's goes my misinformation ploy...I've been calling you a He....
And no, don't worry, you don't have to read any emails, just remember: 948 - 2438,2508,go,25000 and all will be well.. ;)

Geez Brad,
I thought you found my writings entertaining. I'll be quiet then for awhile. As for kicking we'll just have to wait and see. I've never been in a game with you in it that I know about. You and Ed are old friends I know so this should be an interesting match up. I know you like to post so hopefully this one will be entertaining to the readership novellas or not.

Let's find something to write about first...geez, who organized this start up time? It's worse than getting things done in my government office..!

The FP team had some travel and other things to attend to....yeah....I am chomping at the bit too.
The first turn is always interesting as it does show the tone for early strategy to some degree.
Personally, I do not think you will expect our invasion of the Noldo with the starting BS and CL armies.
I had a somewhat odd setup in both good and bad ways so I'm curious to see how this goes as I've never played this nation before.

Which nation? I'm on my 5th... I'm not sure if it's because the team is really trying to fit me in to the most crucial FP to maximize my inherent genious...or they're trying to slot me where I'll do the least damage. Every time they give me a nation, all my neighbours send their armies far far away, I guess they think I'm really good..!

I'm not at liberty to say what nation I'm playing. :-)
But probably after a couple turns you may be able to figure it out based on comments.
I don't understand what you mean when you say you are on your 5th?

But I do, just now that I have kids, and a job, and all that, it's tough on the time, y'a know? ;)
You and Ed are old friends I know so this should be an interesting match up.
That's one way to put it... So am I playing against Ed again? This would be, what, the 2nd time he's been in opposition without a peep..? Ah, guwahn, I'm not to be spooked any more. If I wasn't such a narcissist, I may have paid some attention to how some of you play...nahhhh, it's only Me.. :D

One of the problems that arise, when people know I am in a game, is that people start shreding documents.

And the documents for this game are in the same place as last game Ed, funny thing that... ;)
