I am currently an unaligned neutral. I am truly unaligned, in that I have no preconceived plans on which of the three alliances I intend to join.

My eventual declaration for an alliance will be determined largely by how I am treated by the other nations. My expectation, based on my experience in previous games, is that I am more likely to be pushed away from an alliance, rather than to be bribed into one.

<I edited out a comment made about a "threat" against me. After re-reading the comment, I no longer feel it was a threat, but just careless comment, so I removed my response.>

Many nations have bid us a hearty greeting and talked of neutrality and alliance; talked of peace and prosperity. We have talked with them and wait as the time passes to see the true measure of these people. Time will tell if all the talk has been for naught.
