Damn Balrog tried toasting my mage. Duns reporting in again. Ok Freeps you owe me big style now. Thats 15 big ones for a job well done. Now to see if the promise was worth the trust. Don't let me down I have the WW by the throat.....................

ok ecnounter update. It is definately not a good idea to SEARCH when at Moria whether you can see the Balrog or not. Seems the big black guy hides in the big black corner............

Encounter for ???????? at 2212
As ????? entered the cavern to start a search, his intended mission was instantly forgotten as his gaze
fell on the huge blackened being with the smouldering eyes of a Balrog, who was very evidently displeased at
his uninvited entrance. The Balrog looked sneeringly down at the mage before him. It would be fun to
slaughter this puny mage, he thought. The Balrog watched as he launched magical attacks which fizzled before
reaching the Balrog's huge body. He grew afraid as he felt the Balrog ready his own magical powers.
Suddenly, a burning whip hit the mage with stunning force. it spun him around and struck him again and
again. The Balrog laughed as his opponent fell to the ground gasping for breath and writhing in pain. "So
fall all of my enemies," he roared and flaming lances of fire from the great sword pierced the mage's body.
As his enemy fell, the Balrog turned with satisfaction and left the scene. It was only some hours later that
the mage regained consciousness and, although gravely wounded, he was able to flee the scene.

Area was supposedly clear.

Well, it's become a battle of attrition.

The Dragon Lord and Dog Lord are on life support, and both Gondors are taking a beating.

Who will put who out first? Interesting question...

Groin seems to have had a fatal injury (when he was 'pulling' up the stakes on that camp... I told him to stretch before he began working out... would he listen? No! One less dwarven army in the world.

Anyhoo- so much for the great conquest of Morannon eh? I guess the Orc laughter will continue a while longer. Is this an officially stalled moment for the freep drive in the west?

And the cleansing of Mirkwood? Rohan missed a turn or just not having any luck at threats lately... hmmm... it's only a town for pete's sake! Repeat after me "Grrrr" Now you do it but with some gusto! Threats don't work when you whine at them from the eaves of the forest. Get your sword loosened up already! Be a man!

Finally- Minas Tirith. Flying the flag of the eye. Who'd uh thunked it huh? Oh yeah that's right. We thunked it. And we took it. Best of luck taking the place back fellas!

Last note- what's with you guys and my town anyways? Read the signs- "no freeps allowed"

I think the list of the dead is still classified... join one of us and we'll spill the beans in detail methinks. There are a number of nations being pressured right now though- Dragon Lord has had to relocate and Sinda lost a bunch of stuff rather recently...

The water is freezing! What Gondor did not know when it sank our navy is that we are incredible swimmers! It may have taken a little longer, but at last, my army runs amok in Gondor and is, so far, unanswered (save for the pleas of fleeing villagers and peons). So far, we have concentrated on cleansing the Elf-kind out of Gondor. We do not desire combat with our Brothers, the Gondorians. Wishing for a peaceful reunification with Gondor, I and my band of trusty Zombie-Pirate Missionaries labored long in the capital city of Minas Tirith preaching to our Brothers-o'-the- Sea. At last, the Reunification has begun as Minas Tirith now flies the Flag of the Eye and above that, the Flag of the Dread Pirate Sangarunya. Soon, all the Cities of Gondor will follow suit and declare allegiance to Emperor Sangarunya and his right-hand man, Sauron!

In answer to your other question, Minas Tirith has been painted PINK! In honor of the . . . rather . . . . er . . . feminine ways of the Gondorians (i.e. not fighting!)

The loyalties in the NG pops actually went UP. Like many large and diverse nations, the outer regions always feel an envious jealousy to the self-declared Centre of the World and get positively giddy when bad things happen there.

Well in MY day, those fair-haired folk were scattered across the east fighting off goblins and easterlings with pointy sticks... and I walked to the tower everyday in gale force winds, uphill, both ways... the life of a wizard has never been easy.

As for the balrog- I just dropped in, said hi, fended him off and dropped a camp on his toe. Asbestos tent materials was a MUST, and worked well for a long time... I just wasn't interested in standing around while he whiped the dungeon floors with my scrawny hide though- so I left. With age comes wisdom, and knowing when to leave is a prerequisite to GETTING old ya know?

Your tall warriors would do well to learn this one no?

You guys may have taken Tirith and perhaps you'll hurt South Gondor a bit, but the beating we're going to lay down on the Cloud Lord, Dragon Lord, and Dog Lord will more than make up for it. I imagine someone's getting knocked out this turn, and I'm sure it's not going to be anyone from our side.

Perhaps you haven't been keeping up with current events lately, but last I looked the Dendra and Khamul weren't doing so well. Well, nevermind, they're both dead. And their nations shouldn't be around much longer either. It's time for you guys to start circling the wagons.
