archon mapping

trying out archon and like the results so far but have a question:

from where is the program extrapolating the make up of armies previously not encountered? I am in a game where I am facing famiarly named opposite army comms but also some new ones...and the mapping program lists what it "supposes" the armies are made of but I'm thinking that is unrelyable...

any help here?

It's using starting armies from a sample game that is embedded within the programming... I was working with the developer many moons back and we weren't able to "fix" this. I've found Navies in the Mountains as a result of this because, apparently, Earnil was leading this navy in some Game 59 startup many years ago, and my ally Reconned Earnil in the mountains..thus the Navy and the start-up #'s were showing on my map.... Very frustrating, because you had to always reconcile what you were looking at with game pdf's - "Where did THIS info come from..??" just to be sure.. Sigh...
