greetings.

I've forgotten something ... How much is the movie going to cost ?

I followed Harlequin's link to the movie site, but after reading the section
below I threw up and couldn't read any more ...

03-17-00: This just in....Jackson has added a huge dance number to the movie
in order to qualify as a "musical" so that after it is released on DVD and
VHS...it can be played over and over again on the Much Music and MTV
stations. The dance number will take place on the Pelennor Fields and will
feature all the Riders of Rohan in a mock " RCMP Musical Ride" aboard their
horses. Eomer will lead the musical ride in song. I hear that Jackson has
decided to use Luciano Pavarotti in this role. The orcs will also break out
into song and the choreographed routine will be quite outstanding. A few
smaller song and dance numbers are expected to be placed within certain
scenes. Look for a solo by Shelob who's voice will be none other than Ella
Fitzgerald! Other musical numbers will be inserted at key intervals such as
Frodo, Sam and Gollum's number as they walk through the Dead Marshes and a
"kick-ass" tune by Gandalf and the Balrog during their struggle in Helm's
Deep. -- KEH RA

my condolences :-)

the upside is the kiwi is one of the few currencies where an aussie
buck is actually worth something!

this part confuses me. I know they are releasing the movies every
December for 3 years but have they finished filming just 1 movie or
all 3?

thanks,
Stags.

They did wait till zena has finished being made before
they visited (and btw, I hear that the star from zena
wants the role for the new wonder women movie. My jaw
has dropped already.)

OI !!!! its the aussie PESTO, not the aussie BUCK. A
buck is the total amount of money that i'm getting out
of the new aussie budget

:( - actually I don't mind not being bribed. Its not
being fleeced that i'm happy about.

All 3 were made at once. It is MUCH CHEAPER. But they
get released one a year. I'm confused how the public
will remember what happened in the previous movies.

I expect movie 1 and 3 will set mega-records (1 to see
what's it about, and 3 to see how it ends), but movie
2 will be a bummer (with no clear beginning, and no
clear ending - who wants to spend money on that).
