Howdy folks. Watch for spiders and other meanies in them hills there Elphie, it ain't the happiest neighbourhood, eh?

Someone advise the Duns that if he wasn't so eager to be bored, we would have not only let him keep his trinkets, but given him extras, instead of continually pilfering his fancy toys.

Glad to see someone on the FP team finally had the balls to not refuse against Gothmog. I pay a fortune for that character and I need him to earn his keep. Celdrahil took challenge, and dispite the even odds he is eating dirt. Don't worry his bravery will not be forgotten! Well at least for a turn or two. :)

Ha! Foolish elves! You couldnt take my mighty pop center in the far north. Still the Witch King labors on for your defeat.

Your paltry attempts at seige would make me laugh, if I could, but being a wraith it is rather difficult.

Thelor is taking Remedial English as a Second Language, he'll be late this turn. Amroth...remember him? The Big A? Tut tut, we haven't even picked on him yet...imagine when we do? He'll get so quiet his grandkids'll be mute.

Yes I am still there lurking in the dark, What am I saying here being the only one FP talking in this thread is getting to me.

Look for me in the bright light coming from the west, the Darness is about to be vinquished forever

I talk to Cardolan they seem to have difficulty to access this page
and the Sinda should be coming back soon but they are Elves therefore slow to react. For now youi will have to deal with me that is more than you can handle

Threlor--

Glad to see your post. I was getting worried that the FP had dropped in masse due to the complete ineffectiveness of their strategy and the failure of their "secret plans" to do anything of real value.
As to the light coming to Mordor I would like to believe you, but the fact is the FP have relocated more capitals than we have had to. Of course I guess a war of words is better than no war at all. :)

YES it is difficulty to see battle when you run from it, isn't it Urzi

Threlor--

Hmmm I am unsure what you mean by running from a battle. I never have. There was one case when I was stopped by some Pathetic FP rabble and left them to the Fire King so I could engage the 6,000+ Gondor force. Aye I dont run from armies I seek them out! Don't project your cowardice on me! :)
Hmm Yes Wk should be going out, but since the Elves wont attack his pops you seem to be keeping him in. Fine with us! As to Dragon Lord going out... Sorry his reign of terror has just begun. At least we do not have put up with Khamul's poetry anymore!

Threlor--

Well it seems now the FP armies are running. I only have a few thousand troops with Gothmog why won't you come out to play? Guess I will have to settle for retaking Durthang, Pity I could not arrange for Hoarmuruth to perish in the confusion... BTW I see the large trenches of black stuff around Durth-Bhag, don't worry setting the coffee on fire will not stop our military operations!

But seriously folks, I would expect our team board activity would reflect the situation of the game, would it not? Couldn't kick a bunch of newbies and returnee's out of Mordor in the winter? Good strategy... Now what are you going to do? Have Ringlin follow one guy around for 5 turns in order to curse him to death finally? Would he just like to join one of our companies? Come on, turn 12 shows much, and begs the question: "How many more are you going to pay for?" Not expecting a FP drop now, but consider yourselves put on notice...

Threlor al-Sahaf--

Dwarves are everywhere? Where in Mordor? In your next post I expect to hear that we are commiting suicide on the walls of Cardolan. Sheesh.
Please tell Dunlendings to hurry up, we have wanted to kill him for a long time, he is just too darn far away. No surprise that there are new tenants in the Eoplex, being that we have crushed Eothraim. I'm not sure I would consider scrambling over his corpse a "victory"
Never fear though, I have instructed my Nazghul to let you live -- as my personal slave. Let me leave you with this cheery thought: Every day, every minute, every second the FP get weaker... and we grow stronger...

Thanks for the reply. It's good to hear from you really. Our trace takes two minutes to complete though, so can you please type a little longer next time?
Fletch finally lost the town at 2703. Boy is he crushed. Absolutley heart broken. I think he will be impressed when you stop dying on the walls of Cairn Dum.
Easterlings on their way out? Losing in the north AND the south? I suggest you look at that little enclosure Brad is sending called a MAP before you prattle on. Then again if you look at a map the FP might be harder to beat, so scratch that. :)
You are correct that we have largerly spared your position to this point. This is by design. You are the only one who bothers to post on the list for the FP and its a wonderful source of entertainment!

Urza how can you spare a position by design when you don't have any and don't have the slightess idea of the meaning of words like strategy, tactics and coordination ;)

The WK is out now, I haven't heard from him in this game and you guys stop complaining about him. We are cleaning the remnant of the Dragon Lord in Greenwood

I also have an army at the Black gate. Can you see the banners coming, that one is the Noldor, the one beside it you already know is the Sinda, last turn I showed you the Dunland one. Look in the back You can see the Arthedain one followed by the Cardolan. Rhudaur and the Woodmen are building up for the final assault.

Brad I still haven't receive the map you were suppose to send I am still working with the ones sent by Urzi

Thelor,

More freeps will die next time, that you can be sure of. The closer you freeps get to mordor, the less movement orders I will need to make.

My assassins will wait for you, as death awaits you also  Remind your mute allies to bring lots of body bags, they will need them to carry home their dead.

Din Ohtar crept through the Tower of Esgaroth searching for his intended target, the Northmen Mage Beawyn. As he crept up on the victim,he heard the Mage chanting. He quickly turned on Din O and uttered a curse so foul it can't be printed here.Suddenly a boil appeared on Din O's thigh. He glanced down in annoyance, promptly lanced it and drove said lance through Beawyn's chest.

You've got to be kidding me,THAT peon learned curses? If that's what the FP have been doing all this time,PLEASE save us all some time and money and drop now.If you think taking who knows how long to drag some armies all the way across Middle Earth to hurl themselves against Mordor is going to win you the game, please think again.Do you perhaps think that in the meantime,we would do nothing?Like not recruit enough troops to easily dispose of you?And let's not forget,we have plenty of Dragons. Not to mention the fact that if you saw the list of agents we have, well enough said.Sorry to have to be the one to tell you,Thelor, but it's over.

Ahh Thelor--

So good to hear from you (two minutes yet huh huh?) I always enjoy your blunt spin doctoring. And BOY did you doctor this last one. All our turns are not in yet but from what I can see it does not look good for you... your friends... or your little French lapdog you take into restaurants with you!

Ok you say all these armies are on the way to Mordor. Well as the Dark Lt. I have a pretty good Mordor map and I can see like uhhh... ONE ICON. Come on our dragons are hungry and one icon won't do! I guess we can sack a few more of your pops while we wait...

As to losing characters... well this is just the beginning. Get used to it. Hopefully you will keep naming more to train our agents and hasten your elimination by bankruptcy.

I am heartened to hear you cannot understand our sinister design. That will make it much harder for you to counter it. Export your beer while you still can, the end is neigh my friend.

Its no use Urzahil, It seems most of the free are hiding in the NW and don't really want to fight us. Talk is cheap etc, actions speak louder than words. The freeps lost a few chars this turn, they will lose a lot more in turns to come. Dragons will burn them, agents will hunt them, and cursers will slay them. Oh what fun. Time to take on some dwarves :p

I get the feeling more than just Jacques are playing-- they just seem to be the silent non-communicative types. That explains why they are losing, despite having the extra neutral. Clint informed me that our opposition included a group of five that joined together, so I intentionally placed us in this game thinking there would be both a greater challange and more interation. Looks like I was wrong on both accounts. Sorry Guys. :(

Now now, don't fret, it's not your fault the other side is not up to the challenge. They, forgive the expression, blew their load the first couple of turns and never recovered. The game is now so far slanted in our direction it's not even funny. I just wish someone on the FP side had some sort of strategic grasp of this game that they could look at the map and the disposition of armies and characters and be a man(or woman) and say: This game is for all intents and purposes out of our grasp, let's concede.

Uvatha:p

Thelor 66
29th April 2003, 09:47 AM
Wow poor little Darkies,

Now that Witchypoo is out of the game and the Dragon lord is almost out too.

We have pushed aside the Easties and knocking on the door at Morrannon and our brothers and allies from the west are comming I agree with you Uvatha the game is slanted but not in your favor but in ours.

I recognise your agents are making a difference but they cannot be everywhere. The fact you successfully challenged 2 of my minor characters doesn't give you victory I am coming for you and we will crack open mordor it's only a question of turns now

So you should concede yourself  I will ask the other FP to let your people live.

Thelor,
I had a growing suspicion that you lived in an alternate reality where things seem other than they are for the last few turns but now I'm convinced.I don't mean Canada either .So bring your little armies to Mordor and they will die and you will claim victory and we'll kill more characters and you'll say it's a minor annoyance and next thing you know the game will end in a DS victory and maybe then we can see about getting you the proper medication.
