Found it with about a 225 mage after looking 8 turns in a row. Did not drop
it but only needed one turn to get it to Mordor. Picking it up was no
problem either.

.... On Game 17 in Germany I scouted it with a 270 Mage two times with two trys.... We stole it from Galadriel, but the Woodmen dropped it the same round he...

The Ring has been found and used to win the game. I don't know how many times, but is has been done. The problem has been in controling the ring once found....

Then I wasn´t able to get it with a 320 Erestor and a 185 Elrond....... One turn
later Ringlin got it with Mage 140 ......

The Ring has been found and used to win the game. I
don't know how many times, but is has been done.

The problem has been in controling the ring once
found. Remember it will always slip off any finger at
least once after it is found. Also, once a character
claims the ring it way just as easily "claim" them and
the character is then lost. Also, whenever the ring
is found a message is sent to all nations in the game.
A lot can happen after that message goes out!
