I did mention story's site. Well he has a good
selection of riddles.

The answer to his riddle is 'Narn i Hin Hurin'

its a first age riddle.

three houses - the three mannish races.

fought the dark - morgorth

their brothers - ???? Some brothers were famous, but I
wouldn't know which ones they are talking about.

heroic voyage - the small trip to the undying lands

dire test - ???? The Valar didn't take much interest
in man. the test could be related to man's gift which
is the ability to die (great gift). Seems elves come
back for a rematch. But when man die, they travel
onwards to valar only knows.

given the west - that island that the high humans
lived on during the second age.

Cheers, Much obliged.

With that I will have a grand total of 7 more to go to reach one of my
Victory Conditions. Why this nation is to end up with 10 more artifacts than
at game start is beyond me.

You bother ????? I never worry about such stuff. Harly
doesn't give out WC, and my teammates would get the
poos if I delayed the war effort in order to get
points.

thanks

p.s actually I admit to not knowing that the answer
means. Hurin I know about, and he did have a brother
(Huor ?). Hurin ended up killing himself (well his son
did get his daughter pregnant). But Hurin didn't make
any special trip. It was another household of men who
make the famous 'save us' boat trip.

Dont really care either way. But since I not actually really in a war
yet (being neutral and all) I dont think it matters much.
