Fair play Ricard, you guys seem to have had a decent turn. I've only seen a half the pdfs but everything North of Mordor seems to be going your way. Curse those double-dealing Easterlings. Never trust a man that spends too much time with camels - that's what I say.

Still - Osgiliath and Minas Ithil are still in the hands of the Gondors. And the DrLo has finally vacated the woodland glades.

We'll be back next turn Ricard - don't you worry. :)

Camels are fine :D

Woodies not so fine ;)

Elves are so nice :o

Now we will play to see if you catch me

(Don't you think you are too far from home?)

BTW: SG does not know about east and west??

Give the Doggies their due, it was them that took down Ohtar, their first kill of the campaign. He was only practising though, before his real job of clearing the Eoplex, or Doggyplex as it is so soon be renamed.

Nazguls suck.

Just wanted to get some trashtalking in before the new turn.

Hopefully this turn will provide me with better trashtalking material than the last one...

Er Murazor

Well nothing special this turn

gingerprince
8th May 2003, 02:19 PM
Ricard, you disappoint me. Nothing to talk up at all?

My turn wasn't that exciting either.

Maybe I should just make up stuff:

Odagus defeated Sauron in a personal challenge. So really, the game's over DS boys. We just going to keep playing cos it's still interesting.

Dear Ginger

Excitment. You want excitment. How about the entry of the Easterling into each of the Northman's Mtown on the Rhun Sea and my attack at his back. Is he even in the game anymore. I think the elimination of a FP nation is something to talk about. Perhaps in this shame to have only lasted 7 turns he has not told you of this. I don't know what you expect, but things seems exciting to me. Perhaps given the loss of so many improtant characters by your side in the first few turns loosing a whole nation is not exciting any more.

Scott

I'd be prepared to wager the Northmen still have a) more pop centres b) more characters and c) a better economy than you.

And possibly me for that matter.

Is he in the game? Has he been knocked out? Who knows?

Actually, I do. And you'll find out soon enough too...

As for losing important characters, I don't start with any important characters. Kill who ever you like. I'll just name someone else with a beard and no stealth. Stupid special bonus *mutter mutter*

"Aspiring to achieve mediocrity" that's the Woodmen motto.

Paul

Nazguls still suck. Easterlings suck too.

Er Murazor

Well

Having all the Agent artifacts and still done anything?? wowwwwww I'm just so scared, please move your agent somewhere I can get them, I'll make better use of those artifacts.

Kal Nargil's Touring Group will absorve Maethelburg's illegal Touring group.

Oh yes!!

Special Offers for Soguthern Gondor this week. :o

Enjoy the trip

Our agents are now SO stealthy and endowed with sneaky agent powers that even we don't know where they are.

Anyway I would count getting them and keeping them all from you as having done something. If you don't agree, ask Celedhring...

Vah!! He was killed with Curufin If I Don't remember too bad, but anyway yes, I'm really stealthy, so stealthy that your characters don't even feel like death :)

It's the late Tharudan we have to worry about. Turns up a Sarn Goriwing, just after the Dragon Lord army moved out. Then turns up at Esgaroth just after the Dragon Lord battles Eoder and sieges the major town. When he does finally get somewhere useful we aim to make him later still.

gingerprince
14th May 2003, 06:07 PM
Tharudan is just going to have to learn that, like comedy, the secret to assassination is...

How's your timing feeling this turn Ricard? Any better than last turn? I've had personal assurances from Tharudan that he'll be somewhere potentially useful this turn.

Of course, perhaps it's just the fear of impending doom that led the forces of evil run in terror from Sarn Goriwing and then dash themselves on the walls of Esgaroth. If I was one of the bad guys I'd be scared to be in the same hex as him too...

He's going to be at Thuringwathost this turn, just so the armies there can have a chance to run for their lives. It's only fair to give you some warning. ;)

As for me, I'll probably be doing some pretty mean scouting this turn - same as usual. So look out.

Oh, and I hope to kill a couple of thousand Rhudaurians. (What do you call some-one from Rhudaur? Rhudaurian doesn't sound quite right.)

<Where is southern gondor??>

From Mordor head across the Anduin and turn left - you can't miss it. If you start seeing elephants you've gone too far south.

gingerprince
22nd May 2003, 02:42 PM
So Ricard, did your agents manage to find South Gondor this turn? ;)

And I hope your agents prove to be more effective than Rhudaur's. The audacity of sending an agent called "Beardy" to a Woodmen town. Sheesh. No respect.

Hi there Paul

Ask your frined southern gondor :)
but also you colleague fom Cardolan, I bet he is not really happy with this turn !!!

Where are those elves??
Cloud Lord (the horny one)

gingerprince
22nd May 2003, 03:16 PM
I haven't seen the Cardolan turn yet. Don't tell me you've been picking on him? Cardolan commanders go down more easily than Porto players, anyway. It's what they do: Name commander. Recruit. Recruit. Get assassinated. Repeat.
C'est la vie in Cardolan.

If you can't find the elves you probably aren't looking hard enough. ;) Maybe you don't really want to find them...

gingerprince
27th May 2003, 09:21 AM
Well now I've seen the turns, I think the WK will be more unhappy than Cardolan. That overrun had to hurt. :)

Er Murazor
27th May 2003, 04:36 PM
Well

Having a look on Cardolan's PDF and that he will loose Thardabd this turns .... and that he has lost 3 characters at his capital ... do you really think WK is less happy than Cardolan??

"The WK unhappy"

I have never been happier, the boys back home are drunk every night, there is Dunedain stew for all, and not a Free icon in sight in Angmar.

Correct me if I am wrong, but should I not have Free armies crawling all over my pops, and I have, oh lets see, none!!

Will somebody of worth take control of this rabble of dirty pig farmers and start to make things interesting or I will have to start up the Troll olympics again, but that gets very messy.

Murazor, tired of waking up with a hangover.

gingerprince
28th May 2003, 03:53 PM
What? You mean we're SUPPOSED to attack Angmar now? We were going to wait it out until after the troll Olympics (Tharbad just got cable and Hallas and the boys were looking forward to watching it. Especially the table tennis and beach volleyball.) But if they're being postponed maybe we need to revisit our strategy...

Hmm. Maybe we should attack Mordor too? I'll run that one past the guys and see what they think. It's crazy enough that it might just work...

Hey, I didn't know that our games had a global following.
Its short notice I know and it might sound a little crazy, but, I am willing to make the Dwarf putting and the Elf javelin an invitational. So if there are any big ugly bears out there who think they can mix it with the Kings of the North, send them along.

Oh, and by the way, the beach volley ball must not be missed, it has a very Hobbitty feel to it this year.

Murazor, one hell of a promoter.

gingerprince
29th May 2003, 04:54 PM
Guntram and Beoraborn are willing to don their speedos and take on all-comers at beach volleyball.

I'll be spending the next few turn prenticing volleyball, so no-one attack me.

Volleyball eh, you mean you want to go one on one with the unbeaten one.
There is nobody alive that has beaten Rogrog, those who did he ate, so his record is quite impressive.
The only thing is his partner Ashdu Zalg seems to have gotten himself lost in Arthedain somewhere, so be a good sport and get him a day release pass so we can get it on:-)

Murazor, looking good in lycra.

gingerprince
30th May 2003, 09:47 AM
Are the black riders to become the Lycra riders? Please! No! It's just too hideous to contemplate. Being corrupted by magical rings of eldrich power - fair enough. But Lycra? Man was not meant to dabble in such things. The Free will surely flee before Murazor's snuggly fitting fluorescent yellow cycling shorts.

The Realm
30th May 2003, 03:33 PM
You think I look bad, wait till ya see Gothmog, his are tight, real tight.
Didn't you know the "Fame" look is back in, leg warmers are fetching 20 quid a pair in Cargash.
But we still look better than you hairy backed tree huggers. Surely the avon elf can drop off a few gillette mach 3s, designer stubble is soo eighties.

Murazor, good friends with Mr Armani you know!

gingerprince
30th May 2003, 07:12 PM
<leg warmers are fetching 20 quid a pair in Cargash>

In that case, there'll be a coordinated FP sale of leg warmers . Got to bring those prices down or we lose our economic advantage. You guys had food at 2 for long enough...

So, as it stands, my capital characters will be doing the following this turn:

NatSell legwarmers 100%
PrenVolley

PrchCar gillette 10
ShaveOther guntram

Hmm, do I need a seperate order to buy razor blades? The male grooming orders in this game need clarification.

Ricard, what happened this turn? SG came out up one commander and a combat artifact. Don't tell me that your agents are not up to the challenge of the FP guards?

And finally, if the Dragon Lord characters (they know who they are) are trying to observe the secret Woodmen volleyball training sessions they can forget it. If they leave this turn and promise to be good then maybe I won't have to have them killed.

Jajajaj Paul, my agents are quite fine, but right now I have to many artifacts!! you could have told me your characters had so many rings, swords and all that staff. how do you pretend me to be stealthy with so much enchanted iron on me?? that is not fair play.

Regarding to what has happend, I just wanted to equilibrate the game, you know poor SG he asked me to free someone, and well ... I am Dark Servant but I decided to show a little bit of mercy.

Dragon Lord has told me your travel agency is really dirty and that I should go to make a clean up :D

gingerprince
6th June 2003, 01:30 PM
Hmm. Yes. Bain was a little careless. Never send a dwarf to do a man's job.

Any unwanted rings, swords etc can be delivered to Maethelburg. But if artifacts are too heavy for the Cloud Lord agents, you should really get them all to go to the gym more. Otherwise how can you expect to defeat me or the Witch King at hobbit volleyball?

I hope you got a good scout in. Bad things can happen to DS characters who get lost in Mirkwood...

Paul

OOOOOOOOOOOKA !!!

Special delivery for Woodmen, can you provide Hex and who is going to receive my special service?? will pay cash or credit card??
:D

I'm really worried about one thing, we were told Woodmen to be real macho men, but it seems there are only men over there ... mmm would that mean that you have been perverted by the so gay Elven manners?

2508. PLease transfer any dwarven combat artifacts or rings of power (or any others you wish to get rid of) to Osric. He'll be the one wearing the red carnation. It'd be nice to get at least one artifact by the end of the game. *sniff*

Pay? I though you were giving up the artifacts because they were too heavy for you. I'm providing the service to you by taking them off your hands. And we only accept cash in Mirkwood since we caught Murazor trying to use Elrond's credit card.

Sorry, can't talk now, we're too busy rehearsing our musical revue. It's a medley of Abba and Village People numbers. And then we have a selection of Julie Andrews' films to watch.

"YMCA. Let's hear it for the YMCA..."
