Greetings Andrew,
I am also a returning player, soon to try my hand in
Game 227 as one of the FP. I actually prefer the 2950
scenerio because I feel the choices for nations are
less "predetermined" than the 1650 scenerio, which I
started playing back in '93.
Also, the smaller armies and nations of 2950 make "the
little things" (even hobbits) more important, like
those 750pt. combat artifacts, combat spells, and who
ever thought a village could be precious?
I am also looking forward to starting a FA game with
limits on assassination and kidnapping, since many
felt this power became unbalanced in the FA. I read
about it in News from Bree online at the MEPBM
website.
Well, there's my two cents. Hope to see you on the
battlefield!
