Hail Arthedain, I see your dwarven slaves are still marching toward my capital. I am ready for them. Silly little stumpies, if your warmachines could only reduce Gundabad's fort to a tower, what chance do you think you have against Carn Dum?
No matter.
I've learned that my allies in the distant south have leveled some heavy blows against SG. His attempt to reach the BS capital has netted him with three lost commanders this turn alone. One wonders what next turn will bring. And with his armies and commanders dieing in Mordor, what is happening to his homeland, with mighty Corsair forces moving freely? I fear that the free peoples have lost their chance for victory.
And you, Argeleb, must know that with Mordor secured yet again, my allies are free to supply me with anything I may need ... gold, agents, backup capitals... whatever. I've weathered your storms and assaults. My storm shall begin...

Err, if I paid a modest tribute would you leave me alone?

Perhaps you can order your dwarven foot soldiers to return to Gundabad. Our agents missed the opportunity there and sorely would like to a second chance. No dice? Well, I guess I'll have to get rid of them the old fashioned way... .
I'm sure the DS assassins will have at least one dwarven commander to choose from next turn.
I see you've done well for yourself. Creating a nice large tax base. Cities and all.

OK, a medium size tribute.

Attention Carn Dum public works staff,
You see all these little people running around? There making a mess of things. They're like bugs, always crawling around. Or I guess they're like backed up sewage because they certainly smell . . . unclean, like Ren but more earthy. Either way I'm up to my armpits in them. Get rid of them. I hear the Ji Indur Pest Control Agency has set up shop nearby, perhaps they can send a few of their capable representatives. If not we could always pay for Wyrm, Inc.'s, patented freep bomb. Its pricey but you get what you pay for.

Hummm. how about a medium to high tribute?

I guess if you name your commanders Mallard, Goose, or Cuckoo, you're pretty much certain they are going to die quickly. Well, in either case, birds can't do worse then the gondors are doing for themselves. SG's glorious cav force will disappear this turn. Sad, really, I'm sure the freeps had high hopes for it...
As for events in our theatre of operations, Arthedain, what exactly is a medium to high tribute? You are always welcome to send me gold. However I have the sneaking suspicion that you'll send it care of a couple of armies. It sure wouldn't be sporting of you to let the dwarves die alone.

Well, my characters 'Edrick the Wild' and ' Benji the Mean' have not done any better against the WK. Let me think about this some so that I can come up with a genuine and legitimate arranfement.

I don't recall that one. Did he get eaten by a dragon or something...
