Clint, Ben's first suggestion, about scrying to find
chrs in a given hex, really could work the same way as
the Scouting SNA for Dwarves (only it would be
proportional to rank, rather than fixed at 50).

If "adding a new spell" sounds like big deal, so does
"adding new skills for Dwarven characters," but in
practice, it's just a processing change. The order --
930 -- already exists.

It's such a good idea. It's not a new order that could
unbalance the game, and yet it gives mages an
excellent option.

In mid-game FA, strong mages without the Weakness SNA
have a sad set of choices: can't learn Curses, there
are often no hidden pc's left to Reveal, can't
conjure. This gives a nice variation to LAT and junior
combat officer.
