I look forward to it.

"...found lots of good stuff.."

Meaning, you've found him on searchs, Tolkein encyclopedias, but
NOT in the Silmarillion...? That's where it's all from, I'd bet
you'd find a mention of him, his tastes, activities, and multiple
place names if you tried hacking through the index.

I like "possible" ;-) That's the initial assumption, pretty basic.
Might simply be a Total pop size (1-5) X an Average Loyalty. More
basic, but this is an old program.. ;)

Clint's speculation on victory points and pops and their loyalties is
absolutely correct. As for testing it, that can be done by NOT making camps
and using your emissaries to improve your starting pop centers. Have done
this several times and you get, far and away, more victory points by
concentrating emissaries on pop upgrades.

Oooh Goodie. This is useful knowledge. Use your newly named
30 point emissaries to Improve Pops! That's great. I can't wait
for an "ally" to *Try* that, and then explain it away by saying:
"I'm trying to build victory points!"...

Trivial thread, but interesting, as many different aspects of
the program work along similar lines, no?

If you have a particular problem with the whole idea of Victory
Points itself, feel free to express your mature, rational, and
well thought out views. But otherwise, please retain control
over this kind of childish outburst.

Agreed totally. Thanks. Recall, the gentlemen who started
this thread mentioned that he was writing an article in Bree.
Let's see what its all about when it comes out...
