OK, bought the tape and watched it last night. Saw something that I missed in the movie theater. Hope other TT purchasers will double check my possible observation.
The Scene: Helm's Deep as the Noldo archers march in. Rows of elves standing at attention. Aragorn is talking and over his left shoulder you see the face of an Eld archer that is definately feminine. The elves right face and march off, so you see that particular elf in profile. Was that Arwen?

Arwen was originally filmed in action at Helm's Deep for The Two Towers but most of that was later removed from the movie. Perhaps Peter Jackson decided not to have her arrive at Helm's Deep so the editing people had to try to remove her from all of the Helm's Deep scenes where she's visible. There's more information about this at http://www.theonering.net and it seems to indicate that Arwen was originally in those scenes but was later removed as much as possible, for what reason I don't know.

Something else I beleive I spotted in Helmsdeep that I wonder if you could verify with the video. During a conversation between Viggo and Orlando in which they are discussing the potential demise of the people of helmsdeep, there is a split second scene where Orlando appears to be without his blue contact lenses. I would be interested to know if that was indeed the case, or if it was merely an illusion of lighting or shadow.

The Two Towers will have extra footage included. Is it possible that they will re-introduce the scenes of Arwen at Helm's Deep?

No, Arwen will not be at Helm's Deep in the extended edition. Most the additional scenes are with Threebeard and the Ents, and Gollum/Frodo/Sam.
