Flagship magazine has kindly put up a trophy to be won by the victor of my team's next grudge game. Each player on the winning team also receives some free issues of Flagship.
Now this trophy may not be the Holy Grail, but like the Grail, you definitely will NOT see it unless you prove yourselves worthy, and to do that you must beat my team.
Here is the challenge: my team will play DS in a 12 v 12 game, either regular 1650 or WotR 2950 variant, whichever you prefer.
Neutrals will be pre-aligned as follows:
One team gets first choice which neutral they want.
The second team gets second and third choice.
The first team gets fourth choice and the unpicked neutral is eliminated.
You choose whether you want to go first or second.
Some of my players will play 2 nations so obviously you can do the same.
Optional extra: all players get 10 bonus skill points to allocate to one character of their choice. It can't be stealth and it must not take the chosen skill over 40.
Clint asked me to add that we are a veteran team and we usually win - however we were well and truly stuffed two games back.
So, if there is a Percival, Parzifal or Peredur amongst you (depending on which version of the legend you read), and you think you are worthy to win the Holy Grail (sorry, Flagship Challenge Cup) then bring your team on - we bad guys are waiting and we don't care if you have got the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch!
Richard.
