Who only plays Dark Servants, and why?

I play only DS and Neutrals. The DS always has a large amount of agents whereas the free doesn't always concentrate on getting some agents together for later in the game. I wouldnt like playing free and having to replace so many characters.

I tend to play DS more often, because in a well organized environment, surviving the early game can be quite challenging against a competent FP team. They have a significant military and pop center advantage, and until the DS agent and curses squads get rolling, the DS players often must stand on a blade edge for quite some time. I especially like the challenge of tough DS positions like the WK, and attempting to find ways to survive and be effective past the usual 10 or 12 turn life expectancy. Now there is something to be said for marching 5-10K armed and armored Infantry or Cavalry into Mordor and burning pop centers, or finding a way to engage the DS in late game character war, but it just doesn't offer the same level of intensity that DS nations in general provide.

Well, the crazy Turk from Shropshire (real place?) is the only sane one here, it seems. One guy says he prefers DS because they're easier...the other says he prefers DS because they're harder. Not sure, but the next time I start as a DS, I certainly hope Frightful is manning a Gate and svenmoravec is one of the [wink] [wink] "neutrals"... ;)

hey now player :-) when playing neutrals, it is imperative not to be predispositioned to either side. So therefore I am not predispositioned to either side. In the games I have played so far, the Freeps havent been as organized so yes, I did go dark.

My license plate on my car says "NAZGUL", so I have to play DS.

Actually, I've always had sort of a fascination with the bad guys in Tolkien's works, so I tend to gravitate toward them in this game.
