Clint,
I am interested in such an event, but I do not have faith that a
central location can be decided upon. Based on responses already
given, the previous responders are already at odds and they aren't
even close to filling a game. I find it easier to fly to Cardiff.
In regards to the option of having an event at a convention, this
seems a bit silly. Why spend a $50 registration fee for a convention
that you will not be able to attend since all of our time will be
committed to this FtF. For those of you who have not attended, rest
assured that every waking hour is committed to planning,
coordinating, and executing your team's actions.

It is but more expensive. :-) Actually we could do it with enough
commitment from players. There's enough US based players and some interest
from outside the US that there SHOULD be enough to get a game
going. Generally I need you guys to chat to allies, ex-players and the
like and see if you can rustle up some support. When you get to around
15-18 players then it should build up enough momentum that others decide to
spend the extra $100 and travel etc. So I wouldn't shoot the format down
yet - it's possible (even somewhat likely with enough commitment I'd say).

I agree - but then you've been to a FTF so understand the full story. Both
have pros and cons but having a separate event is probably best. Does this
mean that you'd be interested in a FTF US?

I could be interested as well. It depends on location. I'd
certainly be interested in playing on the east coast.

Hey, I'm in SC also! That settles it. Shall we have the FTF game in Moonville or Possum Creek?
But, yeah, I would drive 8-10 hours. I could also make something around Iowa or Minn. or Illinois if it was timed right.

I am close to moonville...
To tell the truth, I vote for Charlotte... it isn't too big, it has a nice airport, and it isn't a money pit compared to DC, Boston, New York, etc.

I would show up if it was located in area from Atlanta to the

would rather have a root canal instead.
