View Full Version : Player banned

Just to inform the wider player base. We've just banned a player for cheating in a game. There's no particular need to go into details (what, who and why of it all) but just to make sure everyone knows that we will take action if we need to.

Thanks

Clint

Please define "cheating". Was it electronic/hacking or was it some sort of spying (such as recently debated on the forums). Further, how does MEPBM successfully "ban" a player to ensure that the rest of us need not tolerate that player's return under a pseudonym?

I've decided to say nothing more here. The player has been punished
enough. As I mentioned on the forum - he broke the rules in the House
rules and/or the Rulebook.

How can they do that? Obviously a player could set-up a false ID to pay us
but why go to all that trouble? (If they're upto that level of fraud then
they can probably become very rich in a very short period of time and buy
us out!) As we very rarely ban a player, and very rarely find they want to
re-join. So should it come up then it would be pretty obvious as the style
of the player etc is something that I also look at.

In this particular situation the player has agreed with the situation and
punishment.
