guarding npcs

I suspect the answer is nothing, but does anything happen if you guard
Sauron with a DS agent? Would it trigger an encounter?

I´ve dueled Sauron, nice image on the PDF...
And I´ve stollen and Killed Gandalf and Galladriel a couple of times, never
tried to guard any of them.

I´ve tried to guard the eagles once, and the order failed.

But, I believe that guarding Sauron would not trigger an encounter because
he is an army encounter.

BTW, another doubt, if I try to assassinate Sauron, it´s an automatic
failure? How about dragons?
